The Fauquier Alliance for Youth (FAY) was created to carry on the work of Fauquier’s Promise, with the hope to expand upon its achievements. FAY supports collaboration and communication between child and youth serving organizations and between those organizations and the public to facilitate the development of services where needed. Organizations, businesses and individuals that are interested in helping this initiative grow are welcome to become involved. FAY meets once every quarter.

VISION

Fauquier County will be a community with opportunities for youth to be a part of a positive family environment, experience a meaningful childhood, be constructively engaged and grow into healthy, contributing adults.

MISSION
  • Supports efforts and enhance capabilities of organizations that serve Fauquier County Youth.
  • Serve as a catalyst for creating new programs and services to address emerging needs.
  • Strengthen collaboration and communication among families, individuals, schools, community based organizations, faith organizations, businesses and government.
  • Raise public consciousness on the importance of being a proactive partner in achieving the vision.

FAY's Strategic Plan for Fauquier County Youth!
Fauquier County, while supportive of children and youth serving organizations, does not have a “go-to” place for those organizations to coordinate their efforts and maximize their effectiveness. The Alliance for Youth plans to support a coherent vision for families, children and youth in our community that is data driven. To view a copy of the Strategic Plan, please click here.

Fauquier Youth Guide-Plans are underway for the next publishing of the YOUTH GUIDE. This third annual publication provides a detailed listing of all programs and resources available in Fauquier County for youth and families.  In the interim, a copy of the Youth Guide can be downloaded by selecting Youth Guide above.
